DC Internship

This yearly internship is an opportunity for dental students to be exposed to the workings of a Congressional office, including constituent service and legislation development, especially in the area of health policy. The WSDA also sponsors the selected student to attend the ADA Washington Leadership Conference. The WSDA developed this program to strengthen future dental leadership in the public affairs arena. This program started in 2005 and was awarded ADA’s Golden Apple for Outstanding Leadership in Mentoring. The selected student will receive a stipend plus travel and lodging expenses.
