States Voice Regulatory Concerns
The WSDA—along with 100% of other state dental associations—recently signed a letter sent to Secretary of Health and Human Services Thomas Price drawing attention to issues adversely affecting access to oral health care and the provision of dental care in the United States.
The federal regulations detailed in the letter, in the opinion of our associations, unnecessarily contribute to the cost of providing care, making it more difficult for our members to deliver oral health care services at an affordable price.
Regulations detailed include Medicare Mandated Enrollment and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.
