Sign Up for 2016 Dental Action Day
Registration for 2016 Dental Action Day is now open!
In 2016, the Legislature will face several issues that have the potential to fundamentally change the delivery of dental care in our state. Being the second year of a two year biennium, all five midlevel provider bills and legislation that would open the door to non-dentist ownership of a dental practice remain active.
Your participation at Dental Action Day is very important to the profession and will help to ensure that the Legislature acts in the best interest of oral health care in our state. The more advocates we have in Olympia, the more impact we will have with our elected officials.
Friday, January 29, 2016
State Capitol, Olympia, WA
Event begins with on-site registration starting at 7:00 a.m.
We ask that you register as soon as possible to ensure that meetings can be scheduled for you with your legislators.

What is Dental Action Day?
Dental Action Day (DAD) is a free grassroots lobbying event where WSDA staff set up appointments with dentists and their local legislator(s) to discuss issues important to the dental profession. Each meeting lasts around 15 minutes and is a great opportunity for dentists to share their ideas and positions with elected officials. No prior legislative experience is necessary to attend. Attendees will be given a detailed 2016 WSDA legislative agenda, a list of active dental related bills, and talking points for each legislator meeting. WSDA staff and lobbyists will also provide a brief training session and a rundown of the legislative agenda items before the meetings begin. We will set everything up, all you have to do is show up!
