More on Oral Cancer
It's important to stay up-to-date and refresh your oral cancer detection skills. From the ADA: Oral and pharyngeal cancer strikes an estimated 39,000 Americans each year. An estimated 8,000 people die of these cancers annually. The stage at which an oral or pharyngeal cancer is diagnosed is critical to the course of the disease, and when detected at its earliest stage, these cancers are more easily treated.
